Finding Aid - Caroline Cabading

Donor Information: Caroline Cabading was a board member for the Manilatown Heritage Foundation. She played a role in developing the programming of the Manilatown I-Hotel center before it opened. She is also part of Malaya Productions, which helped to produce the Rise of the I-Hotel. The first G5 computer, made possible by a grant, helped to produce the Rise of the I-Hotel.

Scope and Content of Collection: The film Rise of the I-Hotel contains raw footage of the I-Hotel struggle in San Francisco in the 1970s to the opening of the new I-Hotel and Manilatown Center in 2002. This documentary features new footage that add to Curtis Choy's Fall of the I-Hotel.
